Agios Sostis is located 10km from Zakynthos town. Agios Sostis is a picturesque spot off Laganas Bay. It was named after the church of Agios Sostis which is on the small pine- tree island. There are some beach bars, restaurants and tavernas above this beach and shops are also within easy reach. Beaches
Agios Sostis' sandy beach is organized with umbrellas and sun beds so bathers can enjoy a carefree sunbathe and the beautiful sea. Near the beach is a small harbor that serves as shelter for small fishing boats and yachts. Many traditional tavernas are found where one can admire the magnificent views of Laganas Bay and Agios Sostis islet.

Shopping
There are some mini-markets in Agios Sostis, along with other shops, like groceries, bakeries and gift-shops, many of these offer a rich variety of traditional products or sweets, like "mandolato" and "pastel", made with honey and almonds.

Nightlife
Agios Sostis doesn't have the crazy nightlife of Laganas, there are only some café-bars and no clubs with loud music. Of course, you can always visit one of the restaurants in the area for a great dinner and then take a shot at dancing Greek traditional dances!
