Kipseli is located in the north-eastern side of the island, near the famous resort of Tsilivi. For the last few years, a touristic growth has been observed in Kipseli and many of the touristic businesses have been founded in the area. The cosmetic part of the resort is the fabulous sandy beach of Drosia (note, "Drosia" means "cool breeze" in Greek) which is the attraction for many visitors.

A visitor can stay in one of the hotels, furnished apartments, or rooms, which operate mostly between April to October.

Transportation
There is a regular bus service to Zakynthos town. You may also rent a car or bikes in Kipseli.

Restaurants
There are nice traditional taverna's where you can enjoy local dishes, fresh fish and excellent locally produced wine.

Beaches
Kipseli Beach is located just 12 km from Zakynthos town. This sandy beach is quiet and familial during almost the whole summertime. A visitor, beyond a refreshing bath, can enjoy tasty appetizers, lovely dishes and also fresh fish. Near this beach is Vardiola beach, ideal for privacy and calmness. A lot of other minor beaches complete the tranquil sight in Kipseli.

Shopping
There are some mini-markets in Kipseli, along with other shops, like a grocery, bakery and gift-shops, many of these offers a rich variety of traditional products or sweets, like "mandolato" and "pastel", made with honey and almonds.

Nightlife
Nightlife in Kipseli is quiet. There is a small variety of restaurants, cafes and bars to select the type of entertainment you like.
